Hey guys! Came up with this great recipe and wanted to share it with you all. It's a genesis of a delicious banana oat smoothie recipe I got from my Martha Stewart smoothie app that I LOVE. I basically tweaked it to include my protien powder (for exercise recovery & appetite control), and to make it a meal-in-a-glass serving size. Here goes:
335 calories per serving
1/2 banana
1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt
1/2 cup milk (2% or less)
1/8 cup rolled oats
1 tsp honey
1 scoop Designer Whey chocolate protein powder
1/2-1 cup ice, if desired
Blend in blender until smooth, pour into glass and enjoy!
If you want a little less calories or this serving size leaves you a little too full, cut the portion of yogurt and milk in half. You can also swap the protein powder for some chocolate syrup if need be, or enjoy it sans chocolate. That's it! Nice and easy! Hope you guys enjoy it! :)
